OTU #68 - Student Musicians; Being a Good Example for Younger Siblings


We had a full studio during this episode! The latest snow storm didn't keep the gang aways.

Aaron drops by with this guitar and tells us about his crazy interest in learning all there is to know about blues guitar. He plays a few riffs for us too!

In our "Question of Faith" segment, Steve, Pat, Elizabeth, Aaron and Joseph discuss how to be good role models for younger siblings. An interesting discussion about realizing the importance of helping to teach youngsters to be good people and people of faith.

OTU #67 - Study Abroad Experiences; Our Personal Journeys of Faith


In this episode, Kathleen joins Pat, Elizabeth and Steve in a discuss Kathleen's recent semester abroad, studying in Ireland. It's an interesting discussion about deciding to go, planning for it, adjusting to a new culture and advice for those who may be considering it.

In our Question of Faith segment we talk about a hot topic here at the Newman Center: understanding and appreciating each other's own personal journeys of faith. We all have different experiences and are in our own unique place in our faith journey. How do we approach prayer and growth in ways that work best for ourself and how to encourage others in their own journeys.

OTU #66 - Gearing Up for Spring



In this episode we talk about our expectations for the spring semester. We'll be traveling abroad in the next few months, so we preview our upcoming trips to Guatemala and Poland.

In our Good Student segment we discuss the "art of the syllabi" - how to understand and manage the course syllabus provided by your instructor. A strategy for success!
